About Our
Official USMC Issue Digital MARPAT Utility Uniforms (MCCUU)
The
MARPAT uniforms we sell are the new Official USMC Issue Digital Desert
and Woodland Camouflage Marine Corps Combat Utility Unform (MCCUU) .
They are
NOT
reproductions, NOT cheap
imports, NOT
Tru-Spec, NOT
Ultra Force,
THEY ARE 100% OFFICIAL
USMC ISSUE. These uniform trousers
& blouses are manufactured by Propper International Inc., American
Apparel Inc., E.A. Industries Inc., Columbia Sewing Co. (Camco Mfg.) or
American Power Source, Inc.
These
uniforms are 100% brand new!
The
uniform blouse has the Eagle, Globe and Anchor embroidered on the left
breast pocket. The uniforms, both trousers and blouses have the small
printed "USMC" & EGA (Eagle, Globe & Anchor) insignia imbedded
within the digital camouflage pattern at approximately every 13" intervals,
this is a printed logo, not embroidered. Example;
The
material these uniforms are made of is 50% nylon, 50% cotton (known as
NYCO). The trousers and blouses are treated permanent press for less
need of ironing.
The
blouse has a total of 4 pockets; two slant style Velcro closure chest pockets
and two button closure shoulder sleeve pockets. Sleeves have reinforced
elbow padding, internal elbow pockets for insertable padding and adjustable
cuffs.
The
trousers have a total of 6 pockets; two front slash style, two rear button
closure pockets and two large thigh bellows cargo pockets, button fly,
reinforced knees and seat. Trouser legs knee area have internal pockets
for insertable padding. Partial elasticized waist at the hips.
They do not have the traditional waist adjustment cinch straps that you
might be familiar with in older versions of BDU pants, this waist size
adjustment feature has been replaced with the two elastic points at the
hips. They also have done away with the tie strings at the ankle
cuffs.
A
note about covers; With the small printed "USMC" & EGA insignia
being printed only every 13" within the digital material you may find that
your particular cover does not have one visible (we're not talking about
the embroidered emblem in the front, they all have that). In the
case that the small printed "USMC & EGA" insignia is not present does
not mean that it is not authentic, it just means that the pieces of material
that were used to construct your cover did not happen to have an "USMC"
& EGA insignia printed within material used. It happens quite
often, there's just not enough contiguous material on a cover to have every
one contain an "USMC" and EGA, especially since so small amount of
digital pattern material is used to make a cover. However, the only
manufacturer that I've seen to make official USMC MARPAT covers is Sekri
Industries, so as of this writing if you received one from somewhere else
and it is not made by Sekri Industries, Inc. it is more than likely a reproduction
and not official USMC issue.
You
will not be disappointed in the quality of these uniforms, if you know
anything about Official U.S. Government military uniforms and have ever
purchased an imported knock off that couldn't withstand a walk in the park
let alone the torments of battle, you'll know you can't go wrong with these
true U.S. Government Issue USMC MARPAT (MCCUU) Uniforms.
We
have some of these uniforms offered as "cosmetic blemish" at a savings
over the regulars. Based upon our inspections of each and every cosmetic
blemish garment you won't be disappointed in the overall quality, that
is as long as you don't mind the collar tag being cut on the blouses.
For the most part what we see as the primary reason for these not passing
final inspection is due to ever so slight marks that might of transfered
to the garment during the assembly process, and usually it is very small
and will more than likely wash out and not all of them have these marks
and sometimes we cannot find any reason, but we have to offer them at a
discount.
